What changes by place
Three kinds of lot
The Historic District
Tight access, old brick and shallow roots. Back gardens a truck can't reach. We rig by hand and check the city's rules first.
Midtown and the Southside
Street oaks over mid-century houses. Limbs over roofs and driveways, and roots under sidewalks.
The islands
Sandy soil, salt wind, pines and palms. Trees here take more stress from storms and dry spells.
